2013 will be the last tax year for which businesses may engage in qualified Enterprise Zone hiring or purchasing. Business should document as much Enterprise Zone tax credit as possible now to preserve credits for the ten year carry forward period.

Rob Campbell has six years of experience specifically preparing tax incentive studies and refund claims. Rob has spent most of his career in public accounting and has worked at both small firms and publicly-traded companies. His main focus area is audit defense for federal and state programs such as Enterprise Zones, Research and Development incentives, Empowerment Zones and Work Opportunity Tax Credits. He also has experience with high net worth and foreign taxpayer compliance. Rob currently serves as Co-Chair on the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Legislative Action Committee and is also a member of the Cal CPA State Technology Committee. In addition, Rob has been a guest speaker for CPA and EA society meetings and serves as KBKG’s employment tax credit resource for tax preparers. Rob graduated from UC Irvine and holds a degree in Economics with dual minors in Accounting and Computer Science.
