Hayley Bales is the Continuing Education Specialist at Tax Protection Plus, the leading audit defense company in the tax industry. Based in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and originally from a suburb of Boston, Hayley develops and teaches curriculum for tax professionals, combining her love for education and continuous learning.
With a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Hayley has a strong foundation in effective communication. She previously worked at UNCG as a persuasive and informative speech coach, enhancing her teaching and public speaking skills. Her passion for education is evident in her current role, where she creates targeted training programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of tax professionals.
Hayley is also an accomplished writer, contributing regularly to the NATP monthly publication and having her work featured in several communication journals. Her transition into the tax industry was a challenging yet rewarding experience, akin to learning a new language—an endeavor she thoroughly enjoys as an avid language learner.
Specializing in cyber security and audit resolution, Hayley is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and insights with others. She is currently preparing to become an Enrolled Agent (EA), with plans to complete her certification by this fall.
When she is not writing or teaching, Hayley enjoys spending time at home with her two children and her faithful dog, Benji. She loves reading, particularly fiction set during World War II or in Tudor England. These days, however, you’ll often find her immersed in her EA manual as she works towards her certification.
